1 Effective against stretch marks during pregnancy

Used from the early months of pregnancy, olive oil effectively prevents the formation of stretch marks during pregnancy. Massage pure olive oil two or three times a day on your belly, thighs, breasts and buttocks. Start using the oil from the first month of gestation and continue the treatment even during lactation.

2 Rejuvenating treatment with olive oil

A skin rejuvenating treatment is prepared with 50 grams of rhassoul powder (a mineral clay from North Africa), 35 ml of olive oil and a teaspoon of turmeric. Mix the ingredients together until you obtain a smooth, homogeneous and thick cream. Apply to wet skin, under the shower and leave for ten minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water, massaging the body.

3 After-sun wrap for hair

A pack after sun for the hair is prepared with 30 ml of olive oil, 20 ml of jojoba oil and 50 drops of rosemary essential oil with. When returning from the beach, spread on damp hair, leave on for at least half an hour and then wash hair very well with shampoo to remove oil residues.

4 For soft hands and strong nails

Vigorously mix a teaspoon of lemon juice with a tablespoon of olive oil. It will form an emulsion that will remain united for one or two minutes before the oil and lemon juice separate again: apply immediately on the hands and let it act for at least half an hour. Rinse with water and a mild soap. Repeat the treatment two or three times a week to prevent aging of the skin on your hands and the formation of dark spots.

5 Anti-wrinkle mask with olive oil

An anti-wrinkle mask for impure skin can be made by mixing a teaspoon of olive oil with a tablespoon of white clay. Mix the two ingredients well and add a drop of lavender essential oil. Apply a thin layer of mask over the entire face with the exception of the eye contour and rinse with warm water after ten minutes.

6 Olive oil against diaper rash

To soothe diaper rash or other skin irritations of children and new-borns, gently massage a few drops of olive oil onto the affected areas, two or more times a day.

7  Massage butter for dry skin

Mix 10 ml of olive oil with 40 grams of shea butter, 10 drops of lavender essential oil and 5 drops of geranium essential oil. Soften the shea butter by working with a spatula or a fork. Add the olive oil and essential oils and mix well. Pour into a clean, dry jar and store away from light and heat for up to three months. Use the product on heels, elbows and on all extremely dry or chapped areas of the body.

8 Skin soothing and anti-inflammatory treatment 

To soothe sensitive, irritated or inflamed skin, massage a few drops of olive oil twice a day on reddened areas. For an even more calming effect, add a drop of lavender essential oil to each tablespoon of olive oil.

9 An effective natural anti-wrinkle

Olive oil is an effective anti-wrinkle for the face and the eye contour: it takes just a few drops to massage on the face in the evening, before going to sleep.

10 Face and body scrub for a young and soft skin

For a soft, smooth and young skin, make a delicate facial and body scrub by mixing 5 tablespoons of coconut flour, a teaspoon of brown sugar, 3 tablespoons of olive oil and 3 tablespoons of sunflower oil. Massage to damp skin and rinse with soap and water.
